Suman Komar, farmer from Dharnai, a village in India strarted growing coffee in a traditional way since he was 14, with his father help. Since he started to sell us his coffee beans, his small farm grew, and finally he was able to provide for his family with 5 children. He is also effectively redefining 'progressive farming' by using innovative ecological solutions thanks to our help. Until recently, his village didn’t have access to electricity. A few years ago, Suman Komar took things into his own hands, and after asking for our help, we installed a solar-powered micro-grid that provides electricity to the whole village.
Now Suman Komar is one of our most loyal producers and partner.
